Bunker Survey
A Bunker Quantity Survey (BQS), also known simply as a Bunker Survey, is a quantitative examination of Fuel Oil (Bunker Fuel) delivered to a vessel (the receiver) from a supplier. A BQS is a commonly used Loss Control tool to track significant variances of cargo quantities between the supplier and receiver.
Dry Container Survey & Reefer Container
A dry reefer container is a modification of a Dry Container fitted with a cooling/refrigeration unit. These types of containers are used to transport temperature-sensitive products that need a dry atmosphere.
Break Bulk & Project Cargo
Break bulk is the system of transporting goods in pieces separately, rather than being shipped in a container. Goods shipped in crates, bags, boxes, drums, barrels without the use of container are referred to as break bulk cargoes.
