Bunker Survey
A Bunker Quantity Survey (BQS), also known simply as a Bunker Survey, is a quantitative examination of Fuel Oil (Bunker Fuel) delivered to a vessel (the receiver) from a supplier. A BQS is a commonly used Loss Control tool to track significant variances of cargo quantities between the supplier and receiver.
On Hire / Off Hire Rob Survey
On / Off Hire Bunker ROB Surveys Onboard quantity survey (BQS) at the time of Charter on Hire / Off Hire.
During survey,need to check log book quantity / actual quantity on board, also reference height mentioned in the table and actual height of the tanks – Fuel oil, Diesel Oil, Lube oil, Hydraulic oil, Gear oil, sometimes
After bunker intake immediately On / Off Hire Bunker ROB Surveys will be carried out, during this time we will observe the cappuccino effect inside the tank
On Hire/ Off Hire Bunker & Condition Survey.
The on/off hire condition survey is an inspection of vessel’s holds, main deck, cargo working areas and external shell plating. It is performed in order to identify any damage present prior to the vessel going on/off hire
